What Ethelyn Bahringer dislikes about Ippudo:
I personally did not like the broth. It was too creamy and meaty for me. My two friends loved it, Ao, I think it's a question of preferences. They only have ramen so they can not order anything else. View all feedback.

Tried the spicy mince pork ramen and was just like any other average ramen. The waiting time was a bit longer than other noodle bars and the taste was just average????

Ippudo was my safe option for decent bowl of ramen and Japanese cuisine. However, the outlet at Central Park suggests otherwise. I tried their signature ramen and speciality buns. The buns were surprisingly hard and dry (less mayonnaise than I get from my three visits in the CBD) whereas the my favourite tamago was fully cooked ????????

Have been curious to try this famous ramen noodle place in Sydney. I visited their Central Park outlet at lunch time on weekdays but I noticed not many people were there. Salmon Aburi Mentai Roll - $13 Lightly seated salmon sushi topped with avocado & mentai mayonnaise I loveee mentai mayo and this one is definitely one of the best I've tried. It was creamy and soft without being too salty. The salmon was also soft and a perfect combo with the delicious Japanese rice and mentai mayo. The description on the menu said "topped with avocado" but I found myself eating cucumber instead of avocado which is fine. Shiromaru Motoaji - $15 IPPUDO's original creamy tonkotsu broth served with thin & straight noodles, pork loin, bean sprouts, black fungus & spring onions. A classic Hakata-style ramen. The noodle was good. It was chewy and good. Thumbs up for their pork loin as it was really tender and flavorful. The broth was good but didn't reached my expectation. It was more watery than thick broth that I expected. Even though it was flavorful but I prefer thick broth for ramen. Overall, a good visit to this ramen place but I don't think I will visit this place near in the future for their ramen as I like my ramen with thick broth. But I will do visit this place for their sushi! Ippudo's Central Park outlet seems to have disappointed some customers who were expecting the same quality they experienced at other locations in the CBD. Some found the buns to be hard and dry, with less mayonnaise than usual, while others felt that the ramen was average compared to other options available. However, there were positive reviews as well, with praise for dishes like the Salmon Aburi Mentai Roll and the Shiromaru Motoaji ramen. The mentai mayo was described as creamy and delicious, while the noodles and pork loin in the ramen received compliments for their texture and flavor. Overall, it seems that opinions are mixed on this particular Ippudo outlet, so it may be worth a visit to judge for yourself.
