Reviews - Freda's
Reviews summary
Experience a hidden gem in the heart of Chippendale at this cool warehouse bar that offers an immersive environment for a night out. With live music and a young crowd, it's the perfect venue for a night of clubbing. While the drinks are interesting and the atmosphere is awesome, some patrons have had mixed experiences with the service. Despite this, the overall vibe of the place seems to keep guests coming back for more. If you're willing to brave the potentially chaotic entrance, Freda offers a unique underground-themed experience with good drinks and live gigs. Make sure to grab a seat and enjoy the colorful interior while sipping on some cocktails and soaking in the live music.
Was Aleen Stanton at Freda's a mag?
Underground themed little bar with live gigs few but good drinks and quirky bar staff. The clientele tends to be on the younger side with heavy student influence and presence. View all feedback.
What Chadd Simonis dislikes about Freda's:
Did what it says on the can - a little hideaway, but I would not call it a Speakeasy in the New York. Good assortment of beer and interesting cocktail selection. The menu was limited tonight, but the pulled pork shirts were good - for Nachos. Overall, I went after the food and drink in search of another interesting one View all feedback.

Great night Friday. Creep followed us from another bar and security sorted him, made us feel safe. They also reminded us from earlier in the night, so we don't have cards again. The boys are on top. Thank you.
Beautiful bar, good music-friendly quantity and even friendly staff very helpful. Would definitely recommend for a few drinks.
Freda is a real find and when I say that, I mean it. It's not easy to find, but it's worth it. The place is amazing in terms of food. Each individual dish is carefully prepared with the utmost care. The staff will serve you with a smile on her face and a friendly explanation of exactly what you eat. At the same time, a calm background music is played live. What else could you ask? If you have not visited this place yet, you should definitely do it, but note that you need to wait for a table as it is quite popular.
Great ambience, great service, great food, great wine, a while. I understand that they move to Oxford St, what the road needs to begin the revitalization.
Lovely hidden bar on regent street. The venue iften features live music or DJ's and the place is always full of people without being to crowded. Lovely colourful interior with nice vibes and chilling atmosphere. Drinks are a bit pricy (10 dolls for a young henry's lager) but that is the price for nice music and lovely crew.
