I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was efficient and prompt, and the staff were courteous. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. It was clear that everyone was dedicated to their roles and performing them well. I have no complaints at all.
I received three pieces of chicken, which included a quarter piece of thigh and two small drumsticks that had very little meat on them. However, I must say that the drive-thru employee was very nice.
I usually receive good service at KFC, but that wasn’t the case today. They had me pull forward without giving me a chance to ask for any sauce. When my food arrived, I mentioned I wanted sauce, but they told me I had to go back in line to get it. Upon checking my order, I saw they included coleslaw as one of my sides, even though I had clearly requested no coleslaw twice when ordering. When I returned to the window, they explained they substituted the coleslaw because the mac and cheese wasn’t ready and they were trying to save time, despite us having already waited 30 minutes from the moment I first pulled forward to when I got back to the window. They still hadn’t prepared the mac and cheese and didn’t offer to replace it with another side. The menu options were not properly respected, which was disappointing.
This restaurant is just like many others. The staff appear disinterested in their jobs. They often leave after 90 days to work somewhere else. The food and service used to be outstanding—I used to drive 40 miles just to eat here. Now, I wouldn’t even cross the street for it. It’s not that the food is bad, but the real issue is the low quality of the employees. Plus, the mashed potatoes taste like they came straight from a box.
