We found this traditional (Old Fashioned) Bar which was offering a three course menu of the day for €14.50 and included a rib-eye steak as one of the main course choices! The service provided by the staff was very friendly and all three courses were well cooked and as requested, the steak was not the biggest but we did not expect more for the price paid. All in all, a most pleasant lunchtime experience an is well rec... View all feedback.
What Lucas Poirier doesn't like about L'Eurasien:
In this month of May, few people in Chinon. we choose the least filled terrace, so that we do not spend too much time at the table. Achieved. but we understood why we were so alone!... View all feedback.
Interesting setting, inside, it looks like an English pub.Warning at the aperitif. very expensive for the quantity served: 7€ for a wisky and you will find yourself with a baby with lots of ice (handed and without gloves) or a ricard and once you put the water (normal water dose) you will find yourself with yellowish translucent water and ice cubes always served without gloves. For the meal we ordered salads: a lot of green salad in bags in the seasoned plate, ham from countries under vacuum and goat without taste that they make for Sainte-Maure. we didn't dare dessert because we were too expensive to taste, given what we had previously taken. The toilets are rather cra-cra !!!!
An establishment that has not stopped us astonishing: a facade in ruins, meat more than invendable, 98% frozen product, going to the toilet (deplorable property) will open us the door of the slightly open kitchen allowing us to see and feel the chef quietly smoking a cigarette, a friendliness worthy of a prison (and still) has been closed urgently!!!!!
We were a group of 6 people, one of us asks to include another element of the card in the menu well on with supplement what is denied us. passable entrance, but there comes the dish. Chicken thigh minced mustard sauce or rather chicken mustard, impossible to eat it burning in the mouth, we are answered we should not take mustard if we don't like it!!!!! a real merchant would have offered us to sweeten the sauce. scrambled ribs with fries without taste and all dry. when the waiter comes to pick up the plates still full, he is told that it was immangeable and that we want to see the boss or cook. And it was the drama, the boss who had not yet addressed the word to us, not even a hint at the entrance of his establishment began to scream that he is not a thief and that all his food is fresh and I pass. we ask him for the supporting documents of his meat and show him from far pretexting that we have dirty hands. He says he's gonna do the 17th to get us out of his place. We decide to settle our menus, while we have not eaten our dishes or our desserts because not yet served. We will, of course, regulate the whole because if we had decided to settle the less the boss would certainly have run with his kitchen knife. in summary to flee and especially restaurant to close.

On the slate a menu that seems correct for 14.50 euros. But there begins a bad dream, first of all the staff young earphones in the right ear atrophes you, there would be only that.....in country ham entry, oh surprise it has served us ham that looks more like top budget under cellophane than the cook, has just opened. afterwards a piece of tender butcher but with a pronounced taste and a slight smell served with frozen fries. I'm stopping because there's a novel to write. especially to avoid
