A superb meal and hospitality, easily justified choosing Chinon as a stop over on the way back to the UK. We look forward to visiting again in slightly better weather, allowing us to dine outside. Highly recommended.

The only problem is you have to bo... read more Wonderful food, beautifully presented and amazing value with friendly staff. Ate here three years ago and it's still as good. The only problem is you have to book ahead as word has spread even for lunch. They also have a pretty outside terrace. Their wine list is local and impressive with reasonable prices and if you need help in choosing a wine, they are very helpful.
