The restaurant we were going to for lunch on a Sat was closed. We did a lap of the main square area and settled on this place. This is not a “restaurant gormand”. It a good place for a lunch with lots of ambience due to the location. Madam had the quiche and salad. I had the canard and chips with a side salad. We ate at this cafe recently. Limited choice on the menu. Meat very tough. Doesn't seem to be any prioritisation of taking of orders hence some people who arrived after us ordered before us and by the time they got to us things had run out. Placed in a living place of chinon, this brewery is particularly pleasant. very friendly welcome, simple and very correct dishes, without forgetting a good choice of Chinon wines at a sweet price. for us, a must-see during our stays.
It is good food and nice service, easy to reach at Chinon. It is a choice when you are late with lunch!
Had a dinner here tonight, with 2 kids. Decent food, fast service & very reasonably priced. Would return if close !
What a cozy service, and that's worth eating, a very good red chinon and even French lesson. Delicious to sit on the terrace. !
