What Bowl of Ramen doesn't like about Sonora In Ch:
My partner and I ordered the chilaquiles. It normally comes with rice but I got extra beans. It was a soppy mess. The chips were soggy and they were floating in a sea of sauce. I don’t know about you, but I like my chilaquiles with a crunch. They are, after all, made using tortilla chips, not plain tortillas… They also did not put the sour cream that they asked me if I wanted. The wait time was also a good 20 minutes... Childhood place, Haven’t been here in a decade and The Food/Service/Atmosphere is just as great as i remember! Although to be honest the Camarones a la Diabla wasn’t what i expected. Very soupy.. n not spicy as i usually get but rice and beans are delicioso, Just stopped for a quick meal need to try other meals :
Tortillas use to be made fresh daily and stay soft. Now they are old and turn hard right away. Recipe changed. Not the same. Prices keeps going up.
This is a small family run business. The family is fabulous, and the food is fantastic. Prices are really good. I would highly recommend going here. The only challenge is that they close at 7, which sometimes is too early. It's small and clean. They have homemade flour tortillas.
