Kim's Diner - Chino Valley

We had an excellent breakfast overall, although the coffee had a strange taste—possibly due to the cream. My wife and I ordered the pigs in a blanket, and I would advise anyone trying this dish to come hungry because the sausage links are thick and juicy! They batter and deep fry the sausage, which I enjoyed much more than wrapping the links in pancakes. The biscuits and gravy (not listed on the menu) also looked delicious.

I recently had my first meal at this restaurant, and it was fantastic! I ordered the chorizo con huevos along with biscuits and gravy, and it was delicious. They give you a generous serving of hash browns too. Overall, the portion sizes are great for the price—definitely worth it!

The prices are a bit high for this area, and the food was disappointing. I've never encountered chicken fried steak that was cooked this tough before. I won't be returning.

On Saturday we wanted burgers so we tried to go to Lucy's. Unfortunately Lucy's was crazy busy. On a whim we decided to head over to Kim's. FYI: Kim's serves the same burgers (same owner) as Lucy's but without the bar atmosphere and with other dinner options available.First I will say....Our food was delicious!! We all had a different burger and they were each one AMAZING.Each of us wanted our burger cooked differently and the chef pulled them all off expertly!! Rare, medium rare and medium all cooked perfectly! Props to him, it's a skill. My burger was cooked rare and was delicious. Seriously wonderful burger.I enjoyed my seasoned fries but they really aren't anything special. The pub chips are a fun option as well.After dinner I had a Chocolate Malt and my wife had the cheese cake. Best malt I've had in forever!! Made fresh, malty and delicious.Our waitress Candice was great. Friendly, courteous and attentive.

Great food good prices all some service you have to get this place part of your daily routine.
