Island Creamery - Chincoteague

Clean and friendly. Long line out the door moved quickly. Could use an outdoor menu board because you are expected to order as soon as your make it inside the door. The ice cream was a bit icy for me, but tasty. Cool t-shirts. Plenty of comfortable outdoor and indoor seating.

The ice cream was fantastic and they make their own waffle cones on site! There is a huge list of flavors as well. I think the line situation could be made a bit better as ordering takes place immediately upon entering and the ice cream varieties cannot be seen at this point. Customer service was abysmal as when we asked what certain flavors were like we just received blank stares or quick responses and there was nobody in line behind us so it wasn?t like we were holding

Great selection of flavors, reasonable prices and good portions. Shakes, cones, cups...they've got plenty of options and plenty of flavors. They have the standards like chocolate and vanilla but also some fruity options like peach and key lime pie. Good sized seating area inside and there are a couple of seats outside. Plentybof parking too, if the spaces next to the building are full you can park across the street.

This is where my kids learned why when there is a place with a line out the door, and another with no line at all, you stand in line. They have a ton of great flavors, and a ton of ways to eat them. Everything was high quality, and I was very pleased. And that line out the door moved pretty quickly.

Cones, waffle cones, shakes, etc. We tried single scoops of orange cream and rum raisin in a bowl for $4.50 each. Both were tasty. The line can get SUPER long so try to go early mid-week. ??
