The food here was incredible. Absolutely love the atmosphere and our waitress Madison was the best. It was a busy Saturday night, but she made sure she was always checked for us. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. View all feedback.
What Nancy McCartney doesn't like about The Village:
We had scallops . I don’t know who does the cooking and could be people have different standards, but the scallops were undercooked and the waitress never asked how the food was only did we want a box. No! If I didn’t eat it there , I wouldn’t take it home. She was nice but to see I left a cup of clam chowder and not ask if anything was wrong or leaving half the scallops, she must have known they were awful. The clam... View all feedback.

A great place for seafood. A well-rounded menu meets many of the local delicacies. The Crab Imperial and oysters are good choices. The staff was very professional and well familiar with the menu and quickly to give recommendations. The fresh bread is a great start and the bartender is very qualified in beach drinks. Expect a little waiting. But we'll be worth it.
This is one of the most phenomenal places I've ever eaten. The food was quickly brought out, it was well presented. The staff was very attentive. And I have to add! The staff knows sign language!! We had no need for it, but during the course of our meal we noticed the hostess / managers sign to a baptismal couple. It almost brought me to tears. My mom's deaf and won't go anywhere because she thinks nobody would understand. Next time we come here where we will be. Absolutely worth the trip. BUT please MAKE RESULTS of this place
Great restaurant we visited during the visit to Chincoteague for a weekend getaway. Images are out of the waiting zone, very pretty. The food was great and the staff was helpful.
Solid seafood joint with a lovely view. Get the Seafood Sampler Platter (pic attached). It comes with crab, fish, lobster, shrimp, scallops, oysters and clams (I subbed out the oysters and clams for more shrimp and crabs though). You can order it boiled or friend but boiled is 100% the way to go here. The French Onion Soup was surprisingly good too! And the bread butter they serve is fresh and delightful. The coleslaw is a sugar bomb but super delicious. The fries are average. BBQ bacon shrimp appetizer isn't bad and the crab balls are a little disappointing but not terrible (too much breading). If you can snag a seat outside it's right on a creak overlooking the marsh and it's beautiful at sunset and into nightfall (pic attached) It's a limited beer selecton but they have 1-2 locals in bottles. Nothing special about the cocktails but the wine selection isn't bad. Expect to spend $40 a plate with tip but leave super happy.
