What B Y doesn't like about Burntshirt Bistro And Tasting Room:
Stopped here to do a wine tasting. The building and shopping area is very nice. They have a nice outdoor seating area. Didn't get any food while here so can't comment on that. They offer 2 different wine tastings a sweet wine and a dry wine. If sweet wines are what you like I wouldn't recommend this winery. The bartender doing our tasting was was very distracted. Trout was fine, goat cheese fritters are good. Beer is good. The pasta is not the best. Had to wait for an hour when half of the tables were empty. Server was nice
Goat cheese fritters are amazing and so was the BLT. Our server Tatiana was very helpful when choosing our wine selection and we had to buy a bottle when we left. I am definitely coming back for the views and the booze. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Recommended dishes: Wine Flight
There was only one person working the tasting room when we were there but he was very attentive and took time to explain each wine. Great patio and wildflower field. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Felt bad for our server props to her for doing her absolute best with a losing situation. Understaffed. Disorienting operations. Bad food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Great location to visit and check out the great sights of Chimney Rock. However, service is awful and the entire staff seems lost. Service: Dine in Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
