Contribute FeedbackA comprehensive review of a restaurant highlighted various aspects including disappointing food quality and service, issues with the room cleanliness and facilities at a hotel, a mix of positive and negative experiences with the food and service, and average pub food. Despite some shortcomings, there were positive experiences with attentive staff, great menu choices, and excellent customer service. Overall, the restaurant seems to be a decent option for a meal out, especially for group celebrations. The hotel was praised for being a great wedding venue, offering clean and comfortable rooms, and providing friendly service with a quiet location.
First visit for a business dinner. it was all right. eating is not a skin food, it is rather like quite standard gastro-pub food, and it was disappointing that on a non-busy night they would run out of some straight. but it is of a reasonable quality, and the service was in order. it was okay, not brilliant, but good enough
Not expecting much, having been here before, and did not get much. Disappointing. Two of us had the Bacon and Brie Baguette. What a shame. The bacon had not been trimmed of fat so every bite pulled out the stringy contents. Never did find any Brie in either of our sandwiches. I tried the Cole Slaw, as served on the side in an “egg cup”. Pretty tasteless. The baguette was good and fresh baked, just a pity about the contents. Service was OK but the ambiance (at lunch time) was non existent, dark and dingy with the requisite old timer at the bar sipping his pint for the afternoon. Oh, I have just been reminded, the chips were good. Sadly one of our group was given crisps.
To Zee and all the team at the Kings Arms. The tudor Kings Arms Hotel is a hidden gem in a picture postcard town of old Amersham in Outer Metroland, Buckinghamshire. Yes, you can take the tube from Baker Street on 40 minutes. I first wish to commend the team for the excellent pre arrival assistance for our stay from 28th July. Unfortunately due to unexpected circumstances, I had to cut short our stay. Zee fully understood the situation and kindly cancelled us, Indeed the mark of a gentleman and good management understanding the circumstances Will return in happier circumstances. Also, having visited for lunch before, I would like to give credit to the quality items and service experienced. Thanks to all the team. Good job! David
Spent a friends 65th here people couldn't have been more helpful especially Katrina/Karina ? she was amazing Thank you
Went to Old Amersham just for a look around. Felt peckish and liked the look of The King's Arms menu. The bacon and brie baguette was the best I've had anywhere in the world (or at least in any of the 100 visited and the fewer number serving same). The added cheese and sauce brilliant And really nice chips and coleslaw.
