read moreThe Swan, a historic English pub, has had a mix of experiences. While it is praised for its charming decor, friendly atmosphere, and varied menu, recent visits revealed inconsistencies in food service and preparation. Diners enjoyed the delicious home-cooked meals, with highlights being the risotto and seafood dishes. However, some customers faced challenges, such as limited roast beef portions and confusion over menu items. Additionally, the establishment's future is uncertain as it may transition into a nursery, prompting concerns from locals. Overall, despite some service hiccups, many patrons appreciate the pub's quaint charm and delightful food, often expressing a desire to return.
