What NJ F doesn't like about Red Lion, Penn Village Green:
My family and I came to this restaurant to have some food and drinks. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were informed that they were no longer serving food. I was denied a drink because I didn't have my ID with me, which I understood due to the Challenge 25 policy. We decided to leave as none of us could get food or drinks. We visited this week for a celebration meal. One of us has a combination of food allergies. We mentioned this when we booked up and discussed on the evening when we ordered. It wasn’t a problem for the kitchen in the slightest. The meal was absolutely delicious, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great night out. View all feedback.

read moreThe Red Lion in Penn offers a mixed dining experience. While some have reported poor service, cold food, and rude staff, others have found it to be a friendly, welcoming pub with delicious food and decent local beer selection. The kitchen hours can be inconsistent, but takeaway options during lockdown have been a hit. With improvements noted under new management, it seems like the Red Lion has potential to provide a great dining experience, as long as expectations are managed.
