The food is top-notch, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a good curry.

Unfortunately the servi... read more We recently moved back into Prestwood and had friends visiting so I was really looking forward to trying out the local Indian take away. Unfortunately the service I received was quite frankly shocking. My friend is gluten free and therefore to make sure she wasn 't sick when I called to order I needed to check if her preferred choice was gluten free. The person who answered the phone didn 't understand what gluten free was, then after trying to explain, instead of giving me a confident response he told me he was very busy and I was taking up too much of his time! He told me to refer to the menu, which I explained didn 't give this information hence the need to ask! I continued with my order, and again told I was wrong when giving a number for one of the dishes even though it was their menu that was wrong. After 30 minutes I went to pick up the order, hoping to find a friendlier face in the restaurant. What followed next I 'm actually upset and disgusted about. How can a local (or any) business talk to their customers in the manner they did. The bill included 3 Bombay aloo 's when I had only orders 1. He almost insisted it was my fault and and I needed to pay for them. At this point I mentioned that I understood he was busy but I wasn 't very pleased with his tone over the phone when I was just trying to ask a genuine question. Comments that followed from him after included I do not need your custom , I have enough customers don 't come back and how old are you? (I 'm unsure other than being extremely rude how this is relevant. I 'm old enough to own a house, have a child and have had many professional jobs where customer service is the first priority). Credit where credit is due the food we had was nice, I 'm just sorry that one guy gave me such a bad experience that I don 't feel welcome back and felt the need to make this review.

We have chosen many different dishes and they have all been good, and the food has been ready to collect when they said it would be. If I were to have one comment, it is that the portions are very generous. The upside of that is that there is always something to nibble on the following day!
