The restaurant is BYOB, with stunning sunset views from the porch. While service is friendly, improvements are needed in food quality and value for the price. Despite the shaky food quality, the outdoor patio and water views add to the dining experience.

Home Port had been a staple of our MV experience. This was the first time back post COVID, and it was horribly disappointing. The first issue was the $79 prix fixe menu. My husband and I visited this restaurant after exploring Menemsha while staying at the Menemsha Inn for a wedding. The food was excellent (the scallops were perfectly seared with just the right amount of char), the service was prompt and friendly, and the views were stunning. In addition, the manager, Max, went above and beyond by offering us a ride back to the inn when it started raining. She truly went the extra mile, and our dining experience was flawless. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Excellent experience. Perfectly cooked lobster. Best place to start your trip on the vineyard.
We were a party of 6. Waited to be seated even though they were not crowded. Obviously short staffed. They close for the season next week. Was told there was no more lobsters scallops or swordfish. The 3 best items on their menu. Extremely disappointing. Portion sizes soooo small. Not reflective of the prefixed dinner of $79. Went home hungry. Pictures say it all.

Terrible service waiter was rude and put incorrect items on the bill and refused to remove them. Also took forever to get the food, 3 hours. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
