What User doesn't like about The Hideaway Cafe:
The regular menu is typical diner food, and the prices are ok (not amazing but not terrible either). However, the Indian menu (which you have to ask for) has some surprisingly good items on it. The butter chicken plate (order it with naan and rice) is tasty and really well presented. Have it with chai tea and it's an awesome lunch -- and this drink is way better and more authentic than the disgustingly sweet Starbuck'... View all feedback.
Terrible Indian recipes done without taking care of what it looks like and is totally tasteless,,,, we are never going back

Especially when the only other Indian food place in Chilliwack (that I know of) is Shandhar Hut which I find to be overpriced. This is my go to place for Indian food.
This little hole in the wall is worth checking out. The menu has something for everyone. Service was a bit slow, only one waitress, but she was right on top of it.
I've been here many times for breakfast. Humble place, not fancy but traditional breakfast options are all good. Carpet has recently been replaced with laminated "hardwood" flooring, which is an improvement.
The breakfast price starts at $5.50 (eggs, fried potatoes, and to eggs, fried potatoes, and toast) and goes up from there. For 750 you can get breakfast with sausage or bacon and for 775 you can get breakfast with ham. Food is always fresh and tasty, never received. The wait staff are very professional.
