Cabbage rolls like their supposed to be made Small and tightly wrapped. Perogies are light and not in the least bit doughy. I always pass on the kielbasa though to save room for more cabbage rolls. Small out of the way and owner operator on site. Wish she was open later, but understand she can't be there 24/7. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sherry's Ukrainian Kitchen:
Been here a couple of times for lunch. Its decent enough and most menu items are made in house. I have had the 6 perogie meal there a few times.. they are ok, but homemade (nothing is as good) or Costco perogies are better tasting. Great, home made Ukrainian cuisine. Sherry is very hands on and does it right. Happy we found her restaurant.
It's a little, homey place where you're made to feel like family. And families feed one another, right? Sherry and her team serve seriously delicious Ukrainian food made from Sherry's family recipes. We had the cabbage rolls, the potato/cheddar perogies (served with caramelized onions and sour cream just as your Baba would) and kielbasa. I'm a certified perogi lover and these are the very best. (My husband ranks them above even those he's eaten in Ukraine.) We loved our meals, and particularly enjoyed talking with Sherry about family and food. We travel to this area often and Sherry's will be on our itinerary every time!
Great home made food, friendly atmosphere, and you will hear stories from Ukrainian heritage if you like to chat. What a great authentic experience! Feels like home. You should go!
This little place make these little bundles up all day long and serve it with caramelized onions and sour cream. You think you can not eat them all when you get them , but in no time they are all gone.
