Garden Court Restaurant - Chilliwack

A great atmosphere, good selection of food items and fast friendly service makes this a great place to go for a meal; whether with friends or on your own. Have eaten here several times and have not been disappointed yet.

This restaurant is located in the Atrium of the Best Western.The "patio" is a great setting to dine in, with the sounds of running water, and lush vegetation surrounding you.Getting to the restaurant itself is a bit of a maze, the entrance isn't clearly marked, and it is seat yourself though this is not posted.We waited awhile before our server arrived, to the point of almost leaving, but after she took our drink order the service was excellent.Our food came out in reasonable time, arrived hot and fresh, and a small mix up was resolved immediately.The menu has a diverse selection that would accomodate most "picky groups", and the fare is similar to what you would find in most family restaurants.There was live music "inside", and in my opinion, detracted from the overall experience for a number of reasons, but did not affect my rating.

While traveling from Vancouver to Kelowna, we stopped by this restaurant and noticed how much it has changed over the years. The tropical atmosphere is lovely and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that the menu is a bit limited.

Have you heard of how terrible Truck stop Food is... Well I am a retired Truck Driver and this Restaurant takes horrible food to the next level. It is so sad as it used to be a really good place to eat... Heck even MooYa's down the street is better than this place. Here are what we ordered and what was wrong...Appetizers:Calamari - came with no Tzatzaki Sauce... Was cold and mushy and came after the main course was servedChicken Wings - how could u mess up chicken wings... Well theses guys did it. Frozen pieces of chicken like stuff deep fried then a little tiny bit of sauce on them (asked for Teriyaki)Main Course:Breaded Veal on a whole wheat bun w/ bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato - sounded kinda cool.. Ugg, what a soggy, mushy, ill tasting garbageBeef Dip - we were not sure that it really was beef... Could have been rat and a pretty old and decreped one at that... Oh.. And what about the dip... It was specially ordered after the meal came (and before the appetizers) and was like a semi warm old dish water... Yuck...And just think of what the Service was like... And then there was this guy running around saying he was the manager... Of what... The bathroom!!!I kinda think that the staff just didn't give a damn... All they were pushing was the Buffet.. For $14.99 a person... Perogies, sausage, soup... That's it... Woohoo...Thank goodness their are places like Mr.Mikes, The White Spot, Bozzini's and other really decent eateries close by.

I'm pretty sure the hotel guest aren't frequenting this place, If they did it was probably only once and then found somewhere else to go. I don't know what was going on when I was there but it reminded me of a scene out of deliverance I was waiting to hear banjos playing. Wierd staff and clientele. Food was over priced for what you get. The waitress kept complaining every time she had to walk back to the bar to get me another drink.... Hello it's your job I don't know if you wanted to bring all 3 beers to the table at once to save yourself trips but really constantly complianing about it, I don't know if that was your ploy for working on your tip but it obviously drastically affected it that's for sure. You guys really need to hire people with customer relations skills because there really lacking there. It's to bad because the hotel and rooms are great but the restaurant is very poor.
