The staff was super nice and the customer service was great. The food was especially the flavors in the fried pimples. The fish are fried. One thing I'd say it's a little too fat for me. After the plate is decorated, the fish sits in oil on the plate and it gets super soggy on the floors that it falls apart. But otherwise the place loved: View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about C-lovers Fish Chips:
We enjoyed our fish and chips. However, we were charged an outrageous $7.98 for two glasses of pop. My wife had root beer and I had orange crush. As seniors we find it difficult to understand how C-Lovers could charge that much for soft drinks. Ridiculous! And sadly there is nothing we can do about it. We will not go back there again. . The food was pretty good but handling the salt and pepper shakers that were covered with grease and not clean was pretty off putting . The place is ok the prawns were really good and the fish was as well. The fries are hand cut but they had a texture I didn’t like . I wonder if they are sprayed with starch I don’t know there was just something about them that didn’t work for me . The coleslaw was a healthy portion it wasn’t bad but there was nothing that stood out about it .It’s a pretty par for the course c lovers . Decent but nothing really to draw me in as a go to place
I went there for all you can eat fish and chips an ice cold beer and 12 battered prawns. Everything was perfect! The service was amazing I couldn't ask for a better first time experience. The food came so fast I didn't know what to do LOL well done staff members

Went on a Friday at lunch. What a shame for the owners it wasn't busier, because everything about my experience was excellent, and they should benefit from doing things right.Let's start with the food. I really like Cod and Chips... so I ordered a 2 piece cod and chips. Portions were good, cod was excellent, chips were perfect, coleslaw very tasty, and the tartar sauce was above average. Overall the meal was very satisfying and even if the service had sucked (which it didn't), I would go back just for the food.As for service... the two young women on duty were EXCELLENT. There were regulars in there who they seemed to know by name. I was by myself going through town and I was treated like I was one of them too. Service was quick, efficient and friendly, and not over the top. Because I was by myself I got to watch the interactions with the other customers to some extent, and they really have people who care about the customers. Kudos to whoever hired trained them.As for atmosphere... I will qualify my atmosphere (google review beta) review of a 4... While very clean and fresh, the atmosphere was not cosy or quaint, but it is very acceptable for a lunch spot chain place. If you could only take this food and service and package it in a nicer quainter setting, this would be a home run.Overall, I highly recommend it.
