What User dislikes about Carl's Jr.:
We went to Carl J's to give them a try in Chilliwack. Very friendly staff and lively atmosphere. Burgers were your typical fast food burger, nothing really stood out to me. Wasn't bad, a good change to the other fast food joints that's been here a while. View all feedback.

Nothing about this place stood out. Prices were not stellar, food was mediocre. Nothing was 'bad', but there was no reason to return here given the other local options.

Burgers for 2, fries and drink over $20; handy if you're in a rush -will we be back to ensure consistency which is what a chain drive thru is all about

I have been to this location about once every month or two since it opened. When Carl's Jr is good its great, but when its bad it sucks and I think about never returning. The thing that keps me coming back is the food. When it is good it's incredible, big meaty burgers with lots of flavor unlike other fast food burger joints (McDonald's or Burger King), The burgers look great and are filling. Unfortunately when its bad, its horrible. I have had; bad service, no service to the point I walk out, rude service, disgusting charred burgers and so on...

I love Carl's Jr but I was unimpressed with this particular location.

Carl's Jr. in Chilliwack offers a disappointing experience for some. The food is overpriced and underwhelming, especially when compared to US locations. The decor is cool, but the quality of the food falls short. The mushroom burger is decent, but nothing special. Service can be slow, and burger temperature is inconsistent. With lackluster value for money, many customers don't plan to return unless requested by friends. However, some appreciate the friendly staff and enjoy the lively atmosphere. While the food may not stand out, Carl's Jr. still offers a decent fast food option in Chilliwack.

The final straw for me was waiting 20 minutes for lunch only to leave without receiving any food at all. The cashier even had the audacity to lie to me, claiming that my order was ready when I was in plain view of the counter the entire time and saw no sign of it. They refused to offer any compensation, a refund, or even to prepare my meal. It’s a complete joke of a restaurant. Since the current ownership took over, the food has been mediocre, the service is consistently slow, and the establishment is often not clean. I can’t believe the Squiala First Nation allows these con artists to operate on their land. I strongly recommend heading across the street to the A&W, where the staff is much friendlier, the food is consistently high-quality, and you actually receive it!

This restaurant offers a massive burger accompanied by a generous portion of fries, although it is slightly expensive. For my meal type, which was dinner, I found the price per person to be around CAD 30-40. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere another 5.

The patty on the original thick burger is exactly that. A thick oversized 100% Angus beef patty, lightly seasoned and flame grilled to a well done. It wasn't overly juicy, but was a lot of beef. I won’t go on record saying that the patty blew my mind, it’s still a chain restaurant patty, but my expectations were exceeded. The bun is your average sesame burger bun. It was fresh, but unfortunately not up to the task of holding the mammoth burger together. All in all, a very good foundation to what some may call a fast food burg. See more at: [hidden link]

While it's true that the fish is frozen, the pieces are sizable and surprisingly do not taste frozen at all. The fish fillet inside is not minced and shaped like you might expect. For $6.99, you get three large pieces of fish along with fries, which is more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest diner. I've had them twice now and really enjoyed them. I bet many people wouldn't think to order them, but I highly recommend giving them a try.

I had an amazing burger combo when I visited! I'm really looking forward to my next trip and I'm planning to bring my son along. It's a fantastic way for us to catch up. Maybe this time I’ll have room for dessert!
