My husband ordered a dozen Bismarcks from this restaurant to be shipped to Arizona. We placed the order on Friday for a Saturday delivery, anticipating they would arrive by the following Monday. However, as of Wednesday, we still hadn't received anything. The tracking information suggested that we might not get them at all this week. I would never order from this place again; we spent $28 and received nothing. The owner's response was dismissive, indicating they didn’t care at all.

However, out of the entire group of 11, the only items we really enjoyed were the glazed cinnamon roll, the Bavarian cream donuts, and the blueberry donuts. We shared everything, but even then, we didn't find them enjoyable enough to finish a dozen. In comparison, just the other day, we bought 24 donuts from Krispy Kreme, and they were gone within 10 minutes!

The decor is thoughtfully designed to showcase the many stories this space holds over the years. Be sure to try their cold brew coffee—though straightforward, it’s brewed in-house and absolutely delicious. The staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Every time I’m in Chillicothe, New System Bakery is a must-visit. You won’t be disappointed.

However, the blueberry muffins were enjoyable, and the small pineapple upside-down cake was also tasty. I might give this bakery another chance, though their prices are a bit high.
