Everything we have ordered here has been what we expected.
I spent my first weekend in NY walking 10 miles in 20 degree weather post-cyclone looking at overpriced walkups, wondering why the hell I moved here from Los Angeles. Starving, I Yelped the closest pizza place and had my answer. New York is the only city where, despite everything, you can walk into any neighborhood and find a slice of pizza that makes you forget everything you loved in your west coast past life. I used to think Joe's was the best, but this definitely took that spot. I thought, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this just tasted so good because I was hungry that day and it was cold. To test this, I came here multiple nights in a row and still experienced no diminishing marginal returns. Instead, each visit made me crave this place more. The normal/triangular/non-square margarita is my fave. And although a warm slice tastes great while you're walking outside and makes you forget how cold it is, I much prefer to enjoy these in the large seating area in the back to fully engage in the experience.
The fresh dough and sweet sauce really makes this pizza! The breadsticks with cheese are extremely popular and delicious. ðŸ•ðŸ•
