Meson de Catedral - Chihuahua

We looked forward to eating dinner here, but when we arrived we noted that the restaurant had closed down. Fortunately we found a new restaurant on the floor called Nomad that had an excellent view of the Cathedral and offered local dishes as well...as specialty cocktails.

Fantastic place. The view is amazing, the food is quite delicious and the waiters did their best to accommodate our wishes. Corn was so soft and delicious. Drinks also were really nice. I would definitely come back. If you are in Chihuahua, do not hesitate...to come here for a delicious quite affordable bite or dinner in a very causal environment. We went there recently and the sanitary protocols were in place.

I gave Meson de Catedral stars for several reasons. My family and I people total) spent three days in Chihuahua and we ate at Meson de Catedral each of the days. The location is wonderful. It is very convenient to the Centro Histórico...and within east walking distance from our hotel. There is also outdoor seating with a great view of the cathedral and the zócalo. We were also very happy with the menu options. With a wide range of ages and tastes in our group, there was something for everyone. There were some local cuisine options and also a variety of other options. The environment was very relaxed. We never felt rushed and the table was spacious so we didn’t feel crowded. One of the nights there was live music, which was lovely. But the main reason I gave Meson de Catedral stars was because of the service. The staff was very attentive, professional, and kind. There were a couple of minor errors with our orders and they were very apologetic and did anything they could to fix the mistakes. Aaron was our waiter two of the times we went and he was particularly great. Definitely recommend Meson de Catedral!

The main attraction here was the view on the main square and all its activities. We had some drinks and enjoyed it. It's a solid place to relax if your done walking or need a little bit of Wifi for your Uber
