Our family stayed in the area for 4 nights and we ate at this bakery every morning. The bakery sells a wide variety of bread, local cakes and sandwiches. The bakery is also popular with the locals. One of the staff, Barbara, is really warm, friendly and goes out of her way to introduce local, traditional baked goods offered at the bakery. A lovely bakery! View all feedback.

I write this review not to discredit the local products that are good and quality but to advise the staff to be more smiling and kind especially because the tourist “Italian” brings money.... enter, consume and pay ... a little extra kindness would not hurt Otherwise if the tourist bothers you just write it in Italian on the board of the outside menu where you put the dishes only in German language. Passing from chienes I stopped to take some pieces of cake to eat at home, in particular I tried sachet, black forest, strudel and another with different layers and jam to raspberries.
