They take pride in using local ingredients and offe... read more A charming coffee cooperative located in downtown Chicoutimi, this spot is a great place to visit and enjoy. They take pride in using local ingredients and offering fair trade coffee. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and found a diverse crowd, including many students, which is expected in a university town like Chicoutimi. I ordered the pulled BBQ tofu sandwich and an iced coffee frappé. The frappé was deliciously sweet, creamy, and frothy, and it didn’t get diluted since it wasn't overloaded with ice like other frappés or iced coffees. The BBQ sandwich came on a lovely sesame bun, with the tofu generously coated in a sweet BBQ sauce, complemented by tangy mayo and crunchy coleslaw. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. Orders are served at your table, but you settle your bill at the counter.
