North China - Chicopee

One of my favorites in the opposite great eating, inexpensive. they are usually quite busy, so they expect a longer waiting period than usual, but that is worth waiting. I suggest checking the order before they go. (forget my vulture role.

I've been going here for years and now it's under new management. The food is not as good as it used to be and you get a lot less.The soup tasted watered down. I ordered pickup one for one dinner it took over an hour and half. Big disappointment. I won't be going back.

Great food. I travel past many Chinese restaurants to get to this place.

I was not so mad that i was given a container of bean sprouts and vegetables when we asked for chow mein noodles as the fact that the woman there had a rude attitude and said that chow mein is not a type of noodle. I feel SO ripped off that i will never return to a chinese restaurant with chow mein as #33 on their menu yet does not know that chow mein is literally a chinese stir fry noodle. This is a bad joke.

I have been here at N. China a few times. It was always pretty good save for the lack of caring in the waiter, be it rudeness when I had to get up to find him, or not bothering to re-check email the table if we needed anything else. Well, this last time I had had it. I tried to find their email to let them know direct but of course, it is not listed on the website under E mail. The combo dishes we had were not good. The chicken was greasy, from using very old oil, and was dark, not gold or golden brown, and crispy. The rice was served lukewarm, and was greasy and mushy, not at all fluffy, and with normal moisture. We needed more sauces, but the waiter remained gone until we told the cashier we would take our bill (we had to find her). Well, then the waiter appears and decides to take our bill and cash us out. He asked is OK? I explained about the rice and the lack of attention for further requests. He grunted, made a face, and acted upset and dismissive. I would strongly advise against eating here at this point. I am being totally honest. There is a much better sit-down option in So. Hadley, MA you can look up.
