Best choice for barbecue in Chickasha. Weapons are great!! Ribs were fine, a little fat. Look forward to a return.
Best in Town. This is a quality place which could stand on it's own in most places. It is a home feel type place with BBQ done right. The meat had a good smoke line with enough spices and rub. Not as good as most Texas place but worth the detour!
We visited this restaurant while in Chickasha for the Festival of Lights. The experience was decent, but it didn’t stand out compared to other places. The prices were a bit high, and they didn’t accept debit or credit cards, which was inconvenient. Fortunately, someone in our group had cash to cover the bill. We tried the ribs, brisket, and a minced sandwich. The BBQ sauce was enjoyable, but the ribs were just okay—on the fatty side.
I loved this place! It will be a regular for our family. Everything was great, including the sides....unique waffle fries, wonderful slaw. Everyone at our table was more than satisfied. Skip Jakes (we've been 3 times in 18 years, never have understood the hype), try this local gem!!
