However, a... read more I am really not sure what happened to the meat at this restaurant. It is nowhere near the quality it was eight years ago when it was known as Jake's. However, all the side dishes are still delicious. I understand that the restaurant cannot control this, but it is uncomfortable how much people stare at you. Come on, let's focus on enjoying our food!

The steak and rib d... read more During our visit in town, we decided to grab some BBQ at Jakes Rib. Two of us ordered sandwich meals, one got steak, and one got rib dinner. The steak and rib dinners were delicious. However, the sandwich meals were a letdown. The bologna lacked flavor and was bland. I ordered the pulled pork, which was disappointing compared to other BBQ places I have tried. It seemed like it was not made in-house or fresh, but rather had the consistency of prepackaged pulled pork from a grocery store. Despite the generous portion size, I could not finish half of it due to the taste. While the steak and rib dinners were enjoyable, my group has no intention of returning or recommending Jakes Rib.

My dining co... read more I don't see what all the hype is about this place. The ribs were some of the worst I've ever had and I didn't even bother with the mashed potatoes. My dining companion ordered the steak, which he said was decent, but only ate a small portion of it. The food was mediocre at best. The only positive is that you get a lot of food for the price. I settled my bill and now I'm heading to another restaurant for a proper dinner.
