I truly don't know why this place wasn't packed for lunch today, it's Saturday, and they by far have some of the best seafood in the state. Great price, super friendly service and the flavor is better then Louisiana crawfish boil. I am so full and they made my birthday special by bringing me a slice of cheesecake. Can not wait to be back! Huge huge shout out to the owners (super friendly and care about their customer... View all feedback.
What Jeff Atwell doesn't like about Fishermen Seafood:
Was a nice night with family. All four chose fried platters so can't rate the boils. Excellent ice tea but kind of wanted a beer and seemed everything was out of stock. The food and service were good though. View all feedback.

If there were a lower rating this place would get it. They have the place looking better than it used to look. That is only positive! The food was brought out one thing at a time making a meal pretty horrible. I started off with corn on the cob and had to wait until 2 and a half cobs to get my wings. Which were ok. Not great. Wife went to pay and was told they didn't accept credit cards. THERE WAS NO SIGN THEY DIDNT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! AND THERE WERE CREDIT CARDS ON DOOR THAT IT SAYS THEY ACCEPT. Well I didn't have any cash but wife was able to pull cash out of purse. Bogus. Never going back there!
Never returning! Had the Talipia and had no flavor , just a pieces of breaded fish tbrown o top of frozen french fries! For a $12.00 meal it was served in a small paper boat something you would get at a fast food restaurant. Had to ask for silverware, ran out of paper towels and I handed the server the empty roll and did not bring more until we got up and got some off another table, terrible service! Save your money, go somewhere else to eat seafood!

Until today … I would have given this place 5 stars. We have literally eaten there 3 times this week. The first 2 times were to go orders but today we decided to dine in. The food is delicious (they really need to work on their advertising marketing though). Our waitress was wonderful. The owner however … ruined the experience for us. Besides the fact that every time we have been in there he smells like he has been on a several week bender, he publicly belittled our waitress in front of customers and then continued to follow her around and create a scene in front of people. I don’t think our waitress was really at fault (it was more the difficult customers she had at the table behind us), but non the less … it was completely unprofessional for him to address the issue in the middle of the dining room, in front of customers, and I don’t care who you are … it was no way to talk to anyone boss, or not. We weren’t the only ones who noticed. Another table spoke up about it as well. We made sure the waitress was given an extra nice tip and our feelings about the situation known to management but just got ugly looks. No apology, or anything. It’s really a shame. The food was so good. Their website says they treat their customers staff like family … well that’s not how you treat family buddy!!!
