What Diptych doesn't like about The Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa - The Restaurant:
Traditional food in a conservative dining area possibly overpriced for any great success. This is the sort of place that should be full of family reunions and laughing couples on a Sunday lunchtime. As it was we nearly had the place to ourselves. Food quality was good to excellent and the winelist looked interesting. Shame the restaurant/bar did not have any cask ale. Good all round meal for four. Service was spot on and the food was great. Starters and mains I could not fault. Dessert not to my taste but enjoyed by everyone else in the group. View all feedback.
