This is a fantastic pub in The Witterings with a large selection of beer that pairs perfectly with their extensive menu. The bar staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, making every visit a pleasant experience. Usually really good food service, unfortunately on this occasion only 1 person behind bar we ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers which were both undercooked quite red in the middle wet due to being undercooked very little cheese if any in either of them. View all feedback.
Lovely pub. One of my favourites. Always so laid back and friendly. Good beer too.
Really friendly pub, nice warming and welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, especially the pecan pie!

Visit this pub every Boxing Day after a walk. The pub is normally very busy (in a good way) really lovely atmosphere! Big place but always seems cosy. Lots of seating inside and out. Car park to the side but we’ve never parked in it so can’t comment. Staff are generally friendly. Never eaten so cannot rate. Lovely place to go after a walk in a beautiful location.
