Was Anonym at The Wild Hare a mag?
Soooo much fun the dj had a great music selection. His transistion were ehhhhh. Be ready to dance the dance floor is a nice size perfect for the atmosphere. Old dance hall vibe; the spot is split in 2 sides one more bar. I will say the security checked ID but didnt pat and frisk. Overall 8.5 of 10 would reccomend and go again View all feedback.
What Shannon O'Neal dislikes about The Wild Hare:
It was an ok experience. The music was good the food was ok. The security in the front and back made me feel safe. I just didn't like paying for a sectional, and once it got packed, people were sitting down for free. I will go back, but I definitely will not be buying a sectional. View all feedback.

If you loved the “old” Wild Hare, this one on Fulton st. does not compare. Was charged for a “ticketed event”, but the performers didn’t show up. Terrible space. Seems like we were in a dark basement with a make-shift bar. Will never go back.
Went here for Valentine 's day! The Website advertised live music, tickets $10. Upon arriving was told the charge is $67 for two people due to a live performance. Turns out the DJ playing music was the live performance. Ordered a rum punch, it was served in a plastic cup for 21. Then they have security guards serving the food to people! Horrible experience, the pictures on the site DO NOT MATCH what is really happening !

FIRE THE COOK! my stomach is tore Up from the j tacos and red beans and rice!!! Throw him to the frogs and find someone else!!! Makes the party stop!
Overly priced. But fun. $20 get in (cash only, which I thought was odd cause next to the door person was a card reader/pin pad)They charge 20% for cards being used at the bar. There’s also a 20% Gratuity for food orders. Very slow food service though.A coke and vodka was $17 (cash)

Too many negatives for us.A planned visit from Louisiana. We arrived about 4:30 to eat and hear the band that was advertised on the internet to perform at 8pm.We wanted the Oxtails on the menu but the waitress said oxtails were not ready to be served. It would be a few hours so we had to choose other options. We left hours later after asking waitress whether the band was coming on soon and being told that they wouldn't be performing until later at 10pm.The Wild Hare venue wasn't managed well.

My husband and I last visited the restaurant in March 2018 and had a fantastic time. I can't wait for it to reopen. I have made a few trips to Chicago in the past year and a half, but it has been closed due to Covid. However, as soon as it reopens, I will be hitting the road to visit again!
I absolutely love this place. Since Covid, it has been less crowded, especially on Super Bowl Sunday. I had an amazing time, the food from the kitchen was excellent, especially the stuffed jerk waffle from Rondas. The DJ was great and my husband and I even enjoyed some dances from two beautiful ladies.
Let’s be honest — this is a legendary spot and doesn’t need my review! However, I loved it so much I have to share. I went in solo on a Saturday (5/29) around 9:30 pm. Cover was $15 for the live show, which is completely reasonable. The bartender was excellent, friendly and communicative even with minimal conversation. While I love a good bartender chat, you should come here for the music. A live DJ was performing a great reggae mix set when I got in, and a bit after 10, the live set began. A TV/speakers at the bar play the show, so you can chill there and avoid the crowd. While I didn’t try it, the food looked and smelled delicious. I am, however, a fan of rum drinks and those don’t disappoint. I had a few of the famous rum punches and a reggae mule. Those paired with the music made sure I left with good vibes!
