A few years after visiting the Zoo Lights at Lincoln Park Zoo, we tried Wendy's for the first time. The food is always fresh and of the highest quality. Every time my family and I dine here, the staff does an excellent job. I've never had any issues, and I always look forward to returning to this special place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wendy's:
I experienced very rude and curt service at the drive-thru for no apparent reason. I understand that someone may have upset you earlier, but that's not an excuse to treat random customers poorly. View all feedback.
I visited the Wendy 's on 3610 n Western ave Chicago Il) I placed an order through there Drive-thru. When i drove- up to the 2nd window, Liberty proceeded to give me my drink , she turned away without making sure I even had the drink in my hand lid wasn 't on correct) and the drink was spilled all over my lap and car seat. Liberty walked away laughing, returns still smiling to ask if I needed napkins now I 'm furious) I tell her please she gets the napkins still laughing. I asked to speak to a manager taryka , Tameka) didnt really understand her manager) when she gave her name. I proceed to explain, and her response was well Liberty did you apologize, as Liberty is still laughing and said I thought I did) I didn 't receive an apologize from the manager or even a discount she could have refunded my money to compensate for Liberty 's lack of Customer service skills.....She didn 't. And closed the window will I was still speaking. DO NOT GO TO THOS LOCATION!
The staff is great here… they greet you and take/make your order very fast… Names on my receipt was Benita Juana thank you so much. I’ll be back!
There is a strange glitch with their system on Doordash, and hopefully it isn't on purpose. When you order certain things, like a Jr bacon meal deal, without making any modifications, the order ticket will take off all toppings. I did not make any of these modifications, nor would I. I checked again by starting the same order, and again, nothing was automatically taken off when I was making my selection. When you order, toppings are standard. When you receive you order and look at the food receipt, the system has modified everything. Fries no salt, Jr bacon cheeseburger no cheese, no bacon, something I would never do. Very strange, and obviously broken.
Weekday 2nd shift crew don’t know what a drive through mobile order pickup is. I place a mobile order for drive through pickup, then I drive through and pick it up. Simple. But the kids here don’t know what they’re doing (understandable, I hated my first food service job too). They will demand you walk in to get it and the “manager” claim it’s a “store policy” that’s been in place for months when I’ve literally picked up plenty of drive through orders within the last few months at the same location. The mobile app offers a drive through pickup option. What’s not to get? Just hand me the food through the window. Not hard. Otherwise, this wendys is good any other time.
I really enjoy Wendy's burgers, but I have to address some issues with the location at the corner of Ashland and Clybourn in Chicago. In my opinion, this is the dirtiest Wendy's I have ever visited. There was a huge mess right at the entrance, and it seems like the floor hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The door handles and glass are grimy, with fingerprints all over. The touchscreen ordering system hasn't been cleaned either. The floors are so sticky that my shoes got stuck, indicating they need more than just water for mopping. The tables are also dirty, making it uncomfortable to sit down and eat. This location definitely needs a manager who can oversee the cleanliness and overall presentation of the restaurant. It's frustrating to see employees more focused on their phones than on maintaining the restaurant, which clearly needs some attention.
