Vegetarian Express Damen - Chicago

The interior left something to wish. it looked like they were moving or not yet open. but eating was delicious. both vegan/vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Many thanks for wearing the vegan / vegetarian burner for us in the north! great selection of vegan favorites, excellent pancakes, tofu scramble, tamales, and gluten-free scones. beautiful neighborhood cahangout! meat options for our carnivorous friends.

I first tried their vegan bean and vegetable tamales on a farmer market. I was very excited until my first bite was. it was just bland, no taste. I added the red hot sauce that had no taste, so it didn't help. I gave him a second chance two days later and ordered the enchilada suiza court with sincean and an avocado taco. the meal was not accompanied with a sauce so that the taco was simply ok and dry. the enchilada had some decent taste, but when I first opened the container, coloring me surprised to see unmelted vegan cheese. the meal was simply incomplete. the rice and the buds had a good taste, but the rice was a bit dry. I really wanted to like this place.

I had a great first experience here! They were about to close and still a vegan sweet potato burger on the most delicious vegan ciabatta brot beat! yum! it looks like they have many other great options and grab and go to pieces. I'll be back.

They sell both mock tuna and real tuna sandwiches in their prepared foods case. Also they aren't always open during their posted hours.
