This is one of the most authentic dim sum restaurants I have visited. Most of the clientele Asian, not surprising considering it is at the beginning of Chinatown. What I liked about their dim sum was that it could be ordered individually, rather than just being selected from random carts wheeled around as many dim sum restaurants do. The quality of the food was excellent and reasonable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Triple Crown:
First, I will say the food was pretty good. However, service was not. No one came to take our orders until we flagged them down. Drinks that were ordered were not brought until servers were reminded of the order. There were 6 of us and each order was brought out at different times. Also, it wasn’t very clean, especially the bathrooms! Would not recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, the new manager told us that we couldn't bring Jewelry inside, even after I explained that she helps me monitor my asthma. Instead, the manager suggested we leave her in the car, which is unacceptable, especially with the cold weather and snow. My husband and I have dined here with Jewelry at least 20 times without any issues, so I was shocked by this treatment. There's no way I would leave my fur baby outside in the cold while we enjoy our meal inside. The manager even asked for paperwork proving that Jewelry is a support animal, but obtaining such documentation for a cat can be quite difficult. Regardless, she is my support animal, and it was disheartening that we were denied entrance and advised to abandon her in the cold. Due to this terrible experience, I will never return to Triple Crown, even though the food is amazing.
Simply really good food, very good and fast service and good atmosphere , vibrant and convivial
One of our favorite stops in Chinatown. The shrimp dumplings are hands down the best available. Drinks are perfect. Great prices.
Delicious food conveniently located near the Red Line, just a few minutes from the Loop.
The food and service were outstanding, and the portions were generous. Although we had to wait a while to get in, it was definitely worth it.
