Excellent dining experience that resembles an authentic English pub. The food was outstanding, and the owner personally served drinks behind the bar. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Daniel Powers doesn't like about The Red Lion Pub:
I sat at the bar for five minutes, during which the bartender engaged in a loud conversation about his dislike for Chicago and California. Despite the bar's pleasant atmosphere, the drink menu was limited to just beer and wine. Additionally, there were some odd Russian posters displayed in the doorway. View all feedback.
Collin knows everything. the red lion is a great, start or end it a night outside or a quiet night for a few pints. the bar staff are rich in knowing how I am home in Britain. love the atmosphere and more important the filling of drinks on the hand. the remembrance and eating is legitimate authentic, which my review with the result that I summarize? ll be back the red lion pub again
I highly recommend the Red Lion! The food was very delicious, the ambience was extraordinary, and the service was incredible. Colin, the proprietor, was very friendly and welcoming, and his staff took great care of us.
Food and drinks were great. Loved the hambuger, scott egg, fish and chips. We did make reservations for our anniversary and asked for a table by the fireplace. Nothing. No response or anything. Seems business don't want to go above and beyond anymore.
Walking into The Red Lion Pub is walking into an authentic British pub. Had a really nice afternoon eating snacking on pub food, drinking Guinness, and socializing with others. I would absolutely recommend paying this place a visit, especially if you're seeking a good Reuben sandwich or fish and chips. Note: FYI the lighting is dim, so if you're looking for a very bright restaurant this is probably not the place.
What a terrific night out with friends. Had not been to The Red Lion Pub since Thatcher reigned over the land (maybe exaggerating, maybe). What a beautiful space. We sipped and dined in The Great War Room, fascinating. Apps and dinners were to top notch. Bangers and Mash, Shepard's Pie, and Fish Chips enjoyed by all. Best pour of a Boddington's I have had on these shores. Topping everything off was the most friendly staff you will find. Perfectly attentive and, get this, personalities! I know, hard to believe. Now stop reading this and go in already, you will love it!
