The gyro plate and Greek salad are standout options, with the gyro being especially peppery and fatty, while the salad offers a fresh and tangy contrast. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to experience the lively Chicago scene, whether you're looking for a late-night bite or a tasty lunch. The menu is extensive, with options like avocado bacon burgers and Italian beef sandwiches receiving high praise. While some feel the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the friendly customer service make it worth the visit. Open late and located in the heart of a bustling area, this restaurant is a great choice for a variety of dining occasions.
Loves this place that racist owners will not be their friend, but damn that burger good.
I'm here almost daily. I call it uppity maxwell the prizes are a little on the high end because they can get these same items on the west side in the hood for half price, but that is wicker park, a high-end quarter of chicago, so the prices make sense here. it is chicagos street food. it is very portioned and delicious. the cozy dunes in or the cozy terrace. directly in the center of one of the most lively quarters in chicago. it is literally the perfect place to experience chicago.
Large menu options with wonderful customer service, early morning or late evening always good service. call them to place order and pick up order to go or stay to enjoy their meal.
Absolutely oriented. prepare for a lot of french fries, I wish they just let us buy a hot dog alone for $5 instead of filling us with french fries. open late is a super plus
The food is superb! They probably have the best avocado bacon burger everywhere. Note to self to order medium well next time, as I probably missed out on some serious juicy points because I ordered well done, but that's on me. The place is nice and clean, the people are polite and the overall vibe among the patrons is chill and friendly. My only complaint is they don't have adiaper changing table in either of the two washrooms, which my toddler son and I were in dire need of when we went in.
