I finally had time and o... read more Well so far coming back from my working vacation from Clearwater Beach, Florida and being Groupered out from eating Fresh Grouper Fish. I finally had time and opportunity to drive to this south side location to try the 'Taurus Flavor Supreme Steak '. My oh my was it delicious. The mince beef with it 's signature sweet, spicy and tangy sauce made this sandwich unique or 'One of a kind ' of it 's own! Don 't ever compare to a Philly Cheesesteak from Philedelphia which is also good to eat too when in Philly but this is a must try. My only reason I only gave 4 stars is because this location despite being a 'Hole in the wall ' of the Southside does not have outside benches or chairs or even in the inside which I understand is small. I am from the Northside of Chicago and I guess Southsiders like this grab and go versus eating the food there. I don 't like that nor do I like eating in the car because I do not want to make a mess both in my car nor on my clothes! Also people beware to bring cash. They DO NOT accept credit cards. I will come again when in the mood.

When I say they are everything they are ev... read more Saw the video of Taurus Flavors on Facebook and knew that I had to try them when I went to Chicago this past weekend. When I say they are everything they are everything. I ordered the double steak and the meat was falling out of the hoggie. I was eating it for 2days. I didn't really care for the sweet green jelly stuff that was on it, but I just mixed it in and kept moving. The only downside is that the only take cash, lucky since it's in the South side of Chicago my boyfriend who is from the area walked to the ATM to take money out. Overall great experience, expect long lines but we were in and out in 20mins.

Loved it. I has the double steak surpreme. Had to wait over 2 hours to eat it because stopped at license branch in Indiana after. But I tore into it when I got home! Didn't even give it a chance in the microwave or oven. Sandwich was on point! Wish I had 2. My wife thought her turkey hoagie was ok. It had everything but some sauce which she said it needed.

True win for myself today because I wasn't sure if this place was still open and looked them via Google and sure enough they were. I found their website and they switched the meats over to turkey based which is awesome since I myself do not consume swine! It is also a win due to wanting to shop with black owned businesses everyday!
