I really love the decor and design of Taco Lulu. The service was quick and attentive. My tacos were ready in just 5 minutes, which was fantastic. The chicken taco had shredded chicken and was packed with great spices. The mint salsa could have used a bit more flavor, but overall it was still nice. View all feedback.

Looking for Harold's Chicken but it was closed. Spotted Taco Lulu close by and it had good reviews. Went there for an early lunch and this place did not disappoint. The tastes were authentic, at a good price and cool restaurant. View all feedback.
I just love the deco and design of Taco Lulu. Service was fast and attentive. Tacos were ready within 5 mins which was great. Chicken taco was shedded chicken and was filling with good seasoning. Minced beef needed a bit more flavour but was nice.
Great first visit here. Service was fast and friendly, food was good, beer was cold. What more could you need? Had the pastor tacos, Lulu style. Only question mark was that there was no recycle bin for the beer bottle. Maybe Chicago sorts it out of the trash? Don't know.
Not the best and not the worst. Somewhere in the middle. Had a skirt steak burrito. Tortilla was not cooked and very chewy. Meat was barely seasoned, tasted old and cheap.
The tacos weren't so bad that I threw up but... I had arrachera tacos and they had a weird taste. What saved it was the actually good tasting salsa verde, authentically mexican. I also had one pescado(tilapia) taco. It was watery and legitimately tasted like pond water. Skip the fishy flavor that people usually complain about it was just like straight up mud. Also the horchata isn't good. Probably from powder.
This restaurant offers excellent, consistent, and authentic Mexican cuisine! So far, I've tried the steak tacos, rice, burritos, chips, salsas (both green and red), tamales, and tortas, and I would rate all of them a solid 5 stars! I'm excited to explore more items on the menu, but I'm already in love with what I've had, especially the torta! They also have a happy hour from 3 to 5 PM with $9 margaritas, which are delicious and reminiscent of a Mexican beach resort, served alongside fresh chips and salsa. Since it's only two blocks from my home and the food is absolutely delicious, I can see myself becoming a regular here!
