I've received coupons from Subway in the mail, like "buy one footlong, get one footlong free," and I try to use them whenever I can. However, a woman working in the morning continually insisted that I couldn't use my coupon for the sandwiches, despite the fact that I pointed out they were listed under the "classic sandwiches" category, not "premium." It was clearly written on the menu, and I even read the coupon aloud to her. Understanding how coupons work shouldn’t be complicated. The sandwich I wanted to buy was definitely not a premium one, yet she refused to accept the coupon. She also wouldn’t make a new sandwich unless I purchased all the sandwiches I had selected without applying the coupon, which totaled over $40 – an absurd amount for something I didn’t need. If they don’t accept coupons, they should just communicate that clearly instead of lying and arguing with customers, which ultimately gets them nowhere. The employee interrupted me multiple times during our conversation in front of another customer, which felt unprofessional. I stepped aside to let the other person pay because the whole situation was awkward. If you have better options available, I strongly suggest spending your hard-earned money elsewhere. This Subway is simply not worth it. The quality has dropped since the days of the $5 footlong, and the coupons often aren’t honored at various locations – it’s just ridiculous! Places like Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's are far superior, and even Potbelly is better than this Subway.
I had a wonderful experience! I've never seen a subway this clean before. It's a must-visit if you're in downtown State Street!
I always enjoy a tasty Subway sandwich—after all, isn't that how Jarrett lost his weight? Haha! I like this location because there’s parking right in front, so I can order my sandwich and be on my way quickly. The place is always clean, the service is fast, and the prices are consistent. My only complaint is that they’ve stopped serving flatbread. What’s up with that?? Why? Despite this change, Subway will always be my go-to sandwich spot.
