A simple "hello" and asking for recommendations with a smile shows them that you see them as people, not just servers. It's important for the folks behind the counter to feel that what they say matters, which encourages them to engage with you instead of chatting among themselves. The people working here are genuinely nice. I usually come here for foot-long subs, though my choices depend on the specials and coupons available. My requests are quite simple: I go for roast beef or tuna, loaded with veggies, on toasted Italian or herb bread, topped with provolone, oil, vinegar, and oregano. It always tastes great, and the staff listens carefully to what I ask for. I’ve never had an issue with how they fill the subs. They also have personal-sized subs, but I've yet to try those. Overall, the convenient location, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food keep me coming back. If only they offered a hot pastrami on rye with onions... that would make it perfect!
