The best food, at a tremendous value, served by the most kind, generous, and charming family. We are regulars and love everything on the menu noodles, sushi, poke, you truly cannot go wrong! View all feedback.
Food is always fantastic, only complaint is that their not open on Sunday, other than that best around.
The poke bowl was perfect. Very sweet people working there. Thank you!
We recently wanted something local. The food was made fresh and it was delicious. Service was 5 stars.
More of a fusion on japanese sushi and less choices or limited choices for Thai dishes. Originally I was going to dine at another Traditional Thai restaurant called Elephant Thai but they only carry out than they are dining in which was a disappointment. The Thai food was descent and authentic to some point but they were no traditional in ingredients. For example the tom kha soup that I had in chicken had the traditional taste and texture of flavor for the coconut broth however, what was not thai was that they used cabbage and I didn't even see bamboo shoots next to lemongrass. That was also the same with the Penang Curry, it had the body, flavor and texture with their curry but they're missing the bamboo, which to me, if I remember going to Thailand is traditional. It tasted good but you're lacking traditional ingredients. The shrimp shumai was delicious and fresh in regards to how it was prepared which I give them credit for as well as the Thai iced tea I ordered despite being served in a styrofoam cup and straw versus a glass and straw. The place kind of reminds me of when I went to Tampa,Florida looking for Thai restaurant and it was also set up where they were using styrofoam and paper disposable plates as well as plastic utensils. They have more of an extension of sushi on the menu but not too many Thai dishes and they're not really all traditional in regards to ingredients. Another thing I was hoping they would have would be the chicken satay which they did not have in their menu which is why I ordered the shumai shrimp. Because I didn't think what I ordered was going to satisfy me enough for dinner. It was my first time so like anything else I gave it a try because I also have to go somewhere not too far and not be driving too much during rush hour Friday night traffic. Also this is not a little formal it's more fast food like setting in regards to dining in but it's better than not dining in which is what I was craving for and this was the closest one. I don't want to give four stars because of the fact that they weren't using traditional ingredients like bamboo shoots on either the Tom kha soup and the Penang chicken Thai curry. They are not bad but they're not two stars or really poor like a one star they're just good. I would come back but I'll have to try their shumai and sushi. Otherwise yeah you can come here if you just want casual dining of a limited Thai dishes or if you're in the mood for Japanese sushi this probably has more selections despite it trying to be thai Japanese fusion for Asian fusion
Great service, quality ingredients, and ecologically responsible packaging options. Authentic and made to order super fresh and tasty Japanese and south Asian dishes. Portions are good and they do not scrimp on fillers or chemicals. No MSG in these dishes because their boomer mom can COOK!!!That's right, Ruk is a lovely family business where you can bring and use your own containers Mom cooks, dad packs up, and daughter/husband handle orders and the overall business. Every dollar you spend here supports these people making your food.A spectacular neighborhood cuisine place...and I'm picky about my Asian food too!Recommendations basil fried rice, poke combo, and dragon roll are AMAZEBALLS. Try to order for pickup early because they get really busy around 6pm ish on weekends...6pm on Friday is a 45min wait if you don't call ahead...but the wait is worth it the food is THAT good
