Their success seems to have fostered a sense of entitlement. I can’t help but wonder if this place would still draw a crowd if it didn’t carry the Publican name. They have a unique system of releasing sandwiches throughout the day, but when we arrived at 1:30, only two options were available. Definitely lives up to the Publican name. All the pastries and the tartines I've tried are great, though some of them don't necessarily stand out compared to the other great bakery options in Chicago.
