I was born in New Haven and lived in Connecticut most of my life. I have been to all of the New Haven pizza restaurants many times. This is not the same. It’s not bad pizza but the server we had (Karina B) was terrible. No personality, not friendly, and slow. Not recommended for authentic New Haven style apizza. Under construction but once inside you don't really notice...The pizza was very good... Thin crust was able to support multiple toppings. The crust isn't flaky. Service was excellent. Guacamole was delicious. The salsa was more like Pico de Gallo... Mixture of tomatoes, onions, corn, and jalapenos. Nice beer selection with a full bar.
As a first-time visitor, I had a great experience at this restaurant. The beer was excellent, and I highly recommend trying the beer flight if you're unsure about what to choose. The pizza was tasty but not extraordinary. The staff was incredibly friendly and made my 9 and 8-year-olds feel at home, especially with the waitress's suggestion for a kid-friendly bar drink that came with a fun drink sword. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Food rating: 4/5.
This place is nice, the beer choice of beers is amazing. I tried their strongest beer . The biz it will get you going. The pizza is amazing and the employees are great people. Would definitely would come back here.
