What Vicky C dislikes about Phở Xe Lửa:
The spring rolls were disappointing. However, the Vietnamese pancake, Banh Xeo, was tasty, and the pho was also good. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. View all feedback.

This is truly my go-to place. The best. Very authentic and always very welcoming. If you want something less greasy and more of a home-made vibe (i.e., not Tank Noodle down the street), this is the place for you. Oh, and I see some negative comments about services here, but in my opinion, that's not what this place is really about.

The food was delicious, and the server was friendly and knowledgeable! It's a fantastic place to try Vietnamese cuisine for the first time.
The Pho and stir fry shrimp was delicious and the green garnishments were fresh! The two drinks we ordered were okay, tri-color dessert and mango smoothie. There was too much ice and the ice wasn't finely crush. The place is a little worn out, rest room outdated but the food was good!

The restaurant is no longer in business. I passed by in 2023 and saw a health department notice posted on the door. They haven't reopened since.
This is my favorite place in Argyle. They offer a whole page of vegetarian options, which makes me incredibly happy as a vegetarian myself. It's a lesser-known spot in the area, so I'm glad there’s usually no wait or big crowds. The staff has always been very friendly in all my visits, and the menu has a great variety as well.
The service was incredibly friendly. My friend and I were the first customers of the day. I frequently enjoy Vietnamese cuisine in SGV and Westminster/Garden Grove, so my expectations are quite high. However, the owners and staff delivered outstanding service. There was a wide variety of options on the menu.
TIL Xe Lua train. My friends and I came in here for dinner on a Sunday night. There were plenty of seating available. The Pho and other noodle soups here were good. They range from $8.50+. I tried the #99 chicken brother egg noodles with shrimp, pork, chicken, wonton, and quail eggs. The broth was good and noodles were perfectly cooked. Banh Mi sandwiches are $5. They were a bit light on the ingredients, but were good. Closed on Thursdays. .... , , , , , , ... , ` . ' ` ' . ; ; ; , .. , a . ; . ` ` ' ' ' ' ' . '
This place might be my new go to place in Argyle. It was recommended by my mother in law who knows her Vietnamese food. I ordered pho with beef and tripe and my husband got the bun bo hue, with an order of spring rolls to share. I noticed the spring rolls were much larger than the ones you get at other Vietnamese restaurants. The dipping sauce was a little sweeter than I am used to, and had a hint of coconut. The pho was delicious the broth was perfect. I did notice the portion size was on the smaller end, but the price per bowl $8.50) was also lower than other places in Argyle. We noticed someone at another table got the Pho Dac Biet which has more ingredients, came in a bigger bowl, but costs a bit more at $10. I would definitely try that next time if I had a bigger appetite. My husband enjoyed his bun bo hue, but we both agreed the pho was better. The bun bo hue came with a lot of meat toppings, which he appreciated. I thought it had a bit too much fish sauce. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. Word on the street is that the pork chop rice is also worth a try.

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere remains calm even when the restaurant is busy. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. However, the majority of the staff struggle with English, and their strong accents can make communication difficult. The drink menu is quite basic and is the only aspect that feels somewhat lacking. Overall, come for the fantastic food and enjoy the lovely ambiance.

This noodle restaurant has the best name ever! The waitress was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We stopped by for lunch, and they were quite busy, but they managed to get our orders out surprisingly fast. The food was absolutely delicious!
We had Pho and the Vietnamese soup. Both were excellent. The service was great! The food was very fresh!
