It is a warm and friendly mom-and-pop shop. Recommended by several local staff from different shops around the Chicago Loop area. They also mentioned Luke's, Portillo's, (a chain) and Maxwell. Incredible taste! I heard they had the best Chicago Dog in Chicago and indeed it was outstanding! Poppy seed bread, all the fixin's and a juicy snap in the dog. So goood!!! And go ahead and get the combo bc the fries are good too!
Was looking for an authentic Chicago style hotdog, and Max's didn't disappoint. Perfectly priced lunch special as well.
