I walked in and the waiter just looked at me completely dumbfounded. She was cleaning the tables and I asked do I just sit myself and she completely ignored me. I asked again and she just kept doing what she was doing so the third time I asked I spoke up and she stared at me for second and said I don’t speak English. I speak Spanish but she was completely rude and I just walked out. I live just up the street been wanting to try it out but that’s just terrible and such horrible way to greet someone trying to eat at your establishment. Won’t be eating there point blank
Their aguachile is the best I’ve tasted in Chicago, as is their consomé. Really great food served here and I appreciate the family that runs the restaurant.
Bad service only 1 waiters for the entire restaurant. It was 3 of us, we all order at the same time. They decided to bring one of us the what was ordered and the other 2 of us waited 45 minutes for our food to be served. We almost left before the food was serviced but yet decided to give it a try. When the food finally arrived it was almost burnt. Never will visit this place again.
My sister and I arrived just 30 minutes before closing, but we were still treated exceptionally well by the owner’s son, who provided excellent customer service. The father prepared some amazing food for us!
