The youth in the group didn't like it very much because it was vegan. The adults enjoyed it because they understood vegan and how to order what they liked.

We had a wonderful experience at this unique and cozy restaurant on the SouthSide. Everything from the customer service to the food was exceptional. I ordered the collard greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and substituted the BBQ cauliflower for the jerk tofu. I can't wait to come back and try the fried okra, fritters, and more battered cauliflower. The team at Majani clearly puts love into their food and we could taste it in every bite. Great job!

I would highly recommend if you'd like to try soul food or if you're feeling! I ordered the soul Bowl with oyster mushrooms, greens, mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes. Updated from previous review on 2022-07-03

I had one of the soul bowls today with fried oyster mushrooms. I’m not a vegan it was my first time having fried oyster mushrooms. They are delicious! This was a great meal. I love everything about Majani.
