Beautiful place where people were nice too. the food was good. had to ask for a cracker for my crabbon and butter, but no big thing.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Even the mild dishes had a surprising kick to them.
This restaurant is perfect for celebrating Father's Day with its generous and filling portions. The ambiance is great with high ceilings and classic music, reminiscent of Frank Sinatra. Overall, it's a very enjoyable experience.
We have visited Metro 8 twice in the last two weeks, which just shows how much we love this restaurant. My favorite dish is the porcini mushroom noodles, and I also enjoy the steak and tuna. The vegetables are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The salads are crisp and well-dressed, and the wine list is extensive and delicious. This place is perfect for dates, girls' nights out, or special occasions. The prices are fair for the high quality of food you receive. The steaks are better than Angus Barn, the pasta is better than Maggianos, and it's much more affordable. Our favorite dining area is the terrace, but the inside tables are also very romantic. We will definitely be returning soon. The service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and they have a top-notch bar and wine list with local food to support small businesses - all things I love! Parking is much easier than in downtown Durham, and we enjoy the vibe of 9th Street. The desserts are amazing, and the coffee is delicious.
